My sweet Paxton... you are three. How that happened is beyond me. I promise yesterday you were just a tiny baby tightly wrapped in my arms hardly talking and certainly not walking. Now you are a smart, independent, always moving and talkative 3 year old. You are so full of energy. You love going places, new and/or familiar and you love people. You are so outgoing... willing to talk to anyone. You definitely don't get this quality from your mom :) You are much more like your daddy when it comes to people skills and I am thankful for that. You have transitioned into being a brother just like I knew you would. You are helpful and loving and talk to Brinlee in a high pitched voice like me. Its been a big change for you from going to our only focus to sharing the spotlight but you have handled it so well. You are very strong willed and on most days it is challenging for us to get through the day without one pouting session. I pray being strong willed will help you through life and that the quality will shape you into a confident, unwavering boy. Your passion for life is evident in all we do and its not uncommon for people to ask me "is he always like this?" in which I reply, "yes"! You are as happy grocery shopping as you are going to the park. Just happy to be living life!
You are so funny and goofy - you say things that make us all bust out laughing - constantly! Your sense of humor is too cute and you want nothing more than for people to think you are funny... You love playing with other kids and you thrive in busy environments! You loved going to preschool this past year. I am happy to report you did get my love of music and its not uncommon to catch you singing to a song, making up a song or singing your own words to a familiar tune. In fact, you are in your playroom doing that very thing right now.
My sweet little love...Some of your favorite things right now are firetrucks, the movie Sandlot (aka the baseball movie), your sister, being "big", going to wim wessons, trains, cars, Planes fire and rescue, donuts and playing outside at the new house.
Paxton you are 3. You are growing and getting bigger everyday. As my first born child You will always be a bit more special and our bond will always be a little bit different. The night of your actual birthday we went to Incredible Pizza with Opa and Pammie and had SUCH a great time. You love this place! We celebrated your birthday at a birthday party for you the next weekend.

That Friday the 18th, the new movie Planes Fire and Rescue came out in the theater so daddy and I took you on a special birthday date to see it. You loved it!
