Brinlee Kate.
Sweet baby girl. You are one.
Taken on your 1st Birthday at Panama City Beach
Little love you are so incredibly healthy and every day I am amazed at how joy filled you are. Your little smile lights up a room and your squeals of joy bring a smile to all of us around you.
Your laugh is contagious and you think your brother is just about the funniest thing on the planet. YOU have done so much for his confidence. He feels so big and special when you only want him, or give him all the attention he wants and think his silly sounds and songs are funny. You just laugh and laugh at him.
As easy going as you are - you can also be pretty stubborn. You don't love the water so bath time is not your favorite time of the day. You don't like to wait for a meal and want to eat everything we do. You never really liked baby food because you always wanted what we had so at this point there is very little you wont eat. You get pretty impatient during diaper changes and while we're dressing you. You have more important things to do so we have to be quick!
You are so, so friendly. Stranger danger doesn't really exist with you and you make a friend wherever you go. I love this about you and it helps me to be more friendly with others too.
I (mommy) love to dress you each day. When I was a little girl I had so many babies and played baby every. single. day. They were always girl babies and they were all named baby Haley. Well my darling - you are now my real life baby doll and not every body gets it, cares, appreciates it whatever - but I get a lot of joy and pride from dressing you and showing you off to the world. I know there will soon come a day when you will dress yourself so I will do it while I can. "No bow, no go" That is our motto and you will find 10 or less pictures over the course of this first year of yourself without a bow in your hair. Sorry, not sorry.
You are crawling and cruising - have little to no interest in walking yet. I don't mind though - we are in the midst of moving and I feel like you are so much safer not being 100% independent yet. Plus - you want me to carry you ALL THE TIME -which I love and I know once you're walking that will slow down.
This year has been different for me because with your brother I worked full time and missed a lot while away all day. I was blessed enough this year to be with you all day everyday and I enjoyed every second. The second child you know how fast time goes so you were cuddled, held, snuggled, kissed and squeezed by daddy and I as much as possible trying to cherish every second of you being a baby. We are so connected you and I. From the very beginning you and I had something so special. I pray this sweet bond of ours grows and grows as we both get older.
You have captured our hearts sweet girl and the joy you have shines through your eyes and your little heart each and every day. You are so loved. Adored. You are just what our home needed and we cannot imagine life without you in it. Happy Birthday!
The day you were born Nov 2, 2013

Month 2 - You smiled so much!
Month 3 - you found your hands and tongue!
Sweet girl - starting to be a chunky monkey and your eyes - they are getting so blue!
Month 5 - the dimple is covered with baby fat - its there though :)
Month 6 - sitting up by yourself, crawling so the dimple is returning!
Month 7 - squealing and getting hair! Duckling fuzz :)
Month 8 - teething (rosy cheeks) and wild hair!
Month 9 - finally a tooth!
Month 10 - I obviously forgot to take a picture with the sticker and headband - but you have 2 teeth and your hair sticks straight up - love it! PS - check out the dimple! It's here to stay!
Month 11 - again no sticker or headband but this was one of my favorite outfits on you and month 11 was filled with lots of giggling and cruising!
You are a one year old - precious doesn't even begin to describe you. Silly, sweet, kind, thoughtful, not patient, cuddly, amazing sleeper and pretty easy going.
A whole lot of sweetness wrapped up in a tiny little girl!
We were in Florida on your first birthday so we had a little birthday party for you at the beach house. Mommy, Daddy, Pax, Pammie, Opa, Aunt Ashley, Uncle T and cousin Nicole were there to celebrate. We had cake and sang you happy birthday which you seemed a bit confused by :) Because you are the 2nd child you had already had cake so you didn't devour your smash cake like some kiddos do, but you did love it! We went out the next day and took some sweet little pictures of you on the beach. We will cherish them forever!
We hadn't even sung yet and you were so happy!
Not so sure about the singing :)
Your criss crossed feet :)
You loved crawling in the sand!
You adore him!
