New school. New friends. First year of pre-k! It was a big day full of firsts and Paxton did so great! I cannot believe how grown up he looks. So young and still so small but full of life, energy and growing up faster than I am ready for.
First, first day of school picture in front of this door! Can't wait to see how he grows compared to the panes as the years go by. Also, the cars at his feet. He always has something he carries with him, precious boy.
So ready, so excited! His sweet teacher is bubbly and full of excitement about teaching. I pray he has a great year and learns a ton!
Also... Bought myself this mug today. I suck at letting go and this gentle reminder each morning while drinking coffee will keep me in check (bought at hallmark - there is a new artist line they are carrying related to parenting - love it!)
When I picked him up this afternoon he was most excited about the "jitter juice" they had at snack (to help with first day jitters) and he loved playing chase in the gym. So far so good - he is happy- we are happy! Here's to a great year of pre-k!
