Saturday, May 7 was our shower at Baba Yega given by Aunt Tina, Haley, Joy and Aunt Sheilah Morgan. What an amazing day. It really was a shower that rained love on me, Matthew and our sweet baby. The weather was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed yet filled with joy, and everyone looked beautiful! There were so many precious aspects to the shower from the baseball card throwback sign in table, complete with shelled peanuts, to the popcorn filled "She's going to pop!" table accents. We had custom M&M's, precious flower centerpieces, yummy gourmet cupcakes, and much, much more!
I was standing with Aunt Tina and had a flashback to my wedding shower 3 years earlier. My wedding shower was also at Baba Yega and to be there with the people I love again only this time for a baby shower was a neat feeling. Life has changed so much since then and at that moment in time I felt so blessed to be there being showered again.
We ate amazing food by Baba Yega and played a few cute lil games - some traditional and some not! We were given so many wonderful, thoughtful gifts - it was so much fun!! I seriously have the best family ever! I was surrounded by (most) all of the women I love and respect as mothers and couldn't have asked for a better day or weekend to celebrate being a new mommy!
Matthew showed up at the end to transport gifts and had a surprise for me himself... an early Mothers Day present. I am such a lucky girl! Enjoy the pictures!

Future Mommy and Grandma!
Mothers Day followed our full day of showering... what a memorable day. I was able to spend the day with some amazing women and more importantly moms; My mom, Grandma Wise, Aunt Sheilah and Lisa. We all went to church then had a wonderful lunch afterwards at Aunt Sheilah's house. We captured the day with some great pictures! Yay for my first Mothers Day! :)
What a wonderful and memorable weekend!
Until next time... lots of love!
