I am unable to quite put into words the joy she brings into our lives. Never in my life have I encountered someone who is so fun, sweet, silly, spunky, friendly, sneaky and smart all at the same time until this sweet one came along. It seems like shes been here along - I cant remember life without her
Her favorite things to do at 2 (in order of favorites) are anything to do with Pax, play babies, little mermaid, lipstick, play outside and I would like to think Matthew and I fall in there somewhere. :) She is also quite obsessed with her Pammie and Opa!
She talks a lot. I mean... I am blown away on a daily basis as to how many words/phrases she picks up, uses correctly and repeats. From a very early age she was a great communicator, but as a two year old she can communicate just about anything and everything she needs/wants to share with us. These are some of the funny phrases she says... Peeeeeease, I up, Bubba (says it all the time), Pack cack ( backpack), "Picy" (spicy), Doose (juice), choo choo face, Moankey (monkey), Mine, Tia (tortilla), Papi (paci), Lieba hush, No touch, Baby Nina (Johanna), It ucky (yucky), Tiss it (kiss it), no touch Boobiesth (boobies), WEL-come, Hold you?, Hold you me?, Hey boy, Two babies two babies, Tiny baby, Go get it, mimi (pammie)
She plays hard and sleeps hard. Wakes up so happy and so ready to go (so not like me in this way :)) She loves her papi (aka paci) and blanket. We will attempt to take paci away soon but for now - whatev. Potty training is on the horizon. She shows signs of readiness so we will go for it soon!
This past week was all about celebrating her and boy did we celebrate! She was obsessed (for the past month) with having pink cake and candles. We had pink cake twice and blew out countless candles. At least 10 on her birthday and 5 on her birthday party cake! What a sweet memory.
Making the "Lucy Face" ... she wanted McDonalds for her birthday lunch!
Seriously good present opener...
She's waited so long for this!
look at that smile :)
We had a sweet little birthday party for her Sunday - "She leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes" We had a great time celebrating with family and a few close friends. Nothing warms my heart as much as seeing the people I love and care about - love on and care about my kids. I know Brinlee felt so loved and celebrated. Everyone was so generous with gifts and we thoroughly enjoyed making memories and sharing in the joy of our Brinlee!
Princess wands!
Favors for the pre-schoolers and babies - sparkle play-doh! If you need a good recipe I'm your gal!
Matthew does great Chalk Art - way better than me!
Caught ya Aunt Tina!
Brinlee loves babies - especially baby Jude
Taste testing her cake...
Taste testing her ice cream...
She is so excited for the candles!
Quickest way to open a present - turn it upside down!
Fire pit and smores - yum!
Happy Birthday sweet girl - we love you so!
