One of my very favorite days of the year is our annual Favorite Things party. I don't make nearly enough time to spend with girlfriends throughout the year and this is one day a year I will have "almost" all of my favorite women together. Mom and I have hosted this party now for 4 years... year one the theme was 'Santa', year two it was 'Nutcracker', year three it was be 'Merry and Bright' and this year it was "Faithful Friends who are 'deer' to us". We are cheesy but we like themes and its fun!

Baby Charlotte graced us with her presence this year - I don't get to see her or her momma near as much as I would like but I just love her - she is one of my favorite things for sure :)

Not only did we get to have our favorite things party on Dec 5 but we also had tickets with 8 other moms and daughters to go to the Amy Grant Michael W Smith Christmas concert and we had a blast! It was such a great day... great night... just what I needed to put the spirit of Christmas and joy of making memories in the forefront of my mind entering the busy season of Christmas.
