Christmas Eve

We are so grateful to have established a tradition with family to celebrate Christmas together on Christmas Eve.  It allows us to really enjoy one another and enjoy Christmas day at home in our PJ's.  This year we celebrated at our house and it was very special for us because not only will this be our first Christmas in the new house but its our first Christmas Eve to host family and we have 2 new babies added to the crew this year, Jamie and Johanna!

Aunt Cindy with Johanna!

Brinlee and her new puppy - it barks, licks, pants, jumps and who else knows - she loved it!

Jamie mastered the art of unwrapping gifts upside down!

Coolest gift! Aunt Cindy bought a zip line!! We (well not we, Matthew, Uncle T and Dad did)  We had to break it in - SO FUN!

Johanna thought the paper tasted so good!

My butt dragged the ground... butt (haha) it was fun!

Aunt Ashley started the gingerbread house tradition at her house last year and we had to continue it this year!

Missing Johanna but here is the crew this year! Can't wait to see how these houses change over the years!

After a fun day we headed to Christmas eve church service - you can't tell here but Brinlee was running a low grade fever, poor baby girl! I prayed and prayed she would be well for Christmas!

Dinner of champions - we are just kids in adult bodies!
Cookies and carrots for Santa and reindeer!

We sent our kiddos off to bed and prepared and fun, Christ filled Christmas morning! The excitement Paxton had this year was un-real ... so much fun!
