Preschool. What a great year we had!
My little giraffe learned so much this year and grew so much. I already just wiped a tear... get a grip, Katy. He walked in to school kind of talking (he had little words but lots to say) and his little hands were always clinging to toys for comfort in our separation. He walked out last week talking in complete sentences, singing (not just talking) his little heart out and kissing me goodbye without a second look. He made some sweet little friends, learned lots of lessons, began appreciating artwork (not until Christmas but that's ok - this momma just needed SOME artwork to display) and was labeled as the kid who "grew the most" (both academically and socially). Admittedly he is young... with a July birthday he was in a class with kiddos who were turning 3 as early as September and my sweet one had just turned 2. He learned more about Jesus and learned how to wait...in a line, to go down the slide, to wash his hands, for me at pick up time and on and on.
It was good for the both of us. It was good to have one on one time with little sister and to know that Pax was having fun with his friends at school. It was good to have to let go a little bit and for him to learn it's OK to be away from me. He is already looking forward to next year!
PS - tomorrow we start potty training wish us luck!
First day of school pointing at a giraffe!
Walking into the classroom... See the little toys in his hand? See the child blocking the doorway screaming? :(
This was actually taken at meet the teacher. He was perfectly happy playing cars with daddy!

Last day of pre -k!
I am so thankful for our school and all they have done for Paxton. We are blessed and I pray he continues to develop a love for school and a love for his Lord.
Until Next time... lots of love!
