6 years ago I married my best friend - 11 years ago I met him. Since then, I get to wake up, go to bed and live life with my husband - the man who still gives me butterflies, makes my head turn and heart go pitter patter. Since meeting in 2003 we've weathered many storms and shared so many memories. From graduating high school to graduating college to new jobs and losing jobs to starting a company to staying home to moving homes to building one to losing loved ones to having two babies to weight loss and weight gain (ouch) to vacations to road trips to praying together and praying for one another we have maneuvered through life and have managed to be there for each other every step of the way. He knows everything about me, knows what I'm thinking without having to say a thing, knows how to make me super happy and super pissed, respects my role as a mom and works tirelessly for us. More than anything he loves our family and The Lord with his whole heart.
I, you see, am the lucky one. He only gets better with age and I am blessed beyond belief to call him mine. Happy Wedding Anniversary my Love!
For our anniversary we grabbed dinner and talked about everything BUT our kids! (say what?) We then headed to the mall where he picked out a perfume for me (I had no say so) and I did the same for him - last minute fun little date. We closed the mall and headed to Main Event (we may have 2 kids but we're young at heart) We were forced to leave at 11 because of project graduation and felt like rebels coming home at 11:30 to our house with my parents waiting up for us. :)

Candy is the 6 year wedding gift tradition so he got me some m&m's in our wedding colors. He is always so thoughtful like that :)
