Our church does VBS BIG! We have prayed about and searched out churches for a long time and this past January we visited Fellowship of Montgomery and it just felt right. I am so thankful God put us here and that we are building relationships with others, being challenged and held accountable with our walk with The Lord, we are being taught sound biblical truth and more importantly our children are being fed the word and are surrounded by other adults who love them and desire to bring them closer to The Lord as well.
The theme this summer (2015) was Camp Kilimanjaro. I taught the music with my friend Lindsey, my kids were too young to attend VBS as actual participants, but they had their own version through the preschool ministry - so much fun!!! Side note - sister broke her Tibia 2 weeks before VBS was set to start so she was a trooper and hobbled along the entire time :)
