Science Museum!

I am ashamed to admit that until yesterday I had not been to the Houston Museum of Natural Science since I was a little girl.  I mean - I am not much of a science person so this isn't super surprising but none the less a tad ridiculous.  We were invited to Cooper's 4th birthday party there and we were excited to get to celebrate his birthday in a place none of us had been in a long time and for Pax and Brinlee - never!

It was super fun and the party was age appropriate and informative.  The party theme was around dinosaurs so it began with a dinosaur dig in which they found a bone and got to make a necklace - so fun!

We got to explore the dinosaur exhibit a bit, touch some cool bones, sang happy birthday and had fun with cousins!

After the party we had access to the rest of the museum for the rest of the day  - so awesome!

Cousin love with Cori
Checking out the largest Great White Shark set of teeth on record with cousin Molly!
Check out the comparison with an elephant to the JAWS above! Pax thought this was way cool!

Waiting on cake with Aaron and Molly!
Pax the weatherman! Poor Brinlee wasn't talk enough to be seen!
Aw - love these smiley little faces sitting on a caterpillar!
MESMERIZED by the butterflies - me included! It was like 3 kids seeing butterflies for the first time!
Y'all - he tried so hard - so so hard to get one to land on him.  Like - almost in tears when we left and it hadn't happened :)
Trying to stand still so one would land on her!
So close - see the wings on the right?
Sweet as honey sitting in the honeycomb!

We really had a good time despite not even visiting parts of the museum.  We'll go back sometime soon to explore some more!
