Spring T-ball opening day!

When Paxton was probably 3 years old my parents, his Pammie and Opa introduced him to the movie The Sandlot.  He has been pretty obsessed with it since then and showed an interest in playing baseball so we signed him up in the fall (less stress) and he was a Lake Monster.  When he enjoyed himself we decided to give it another shot in the spring (way more intense and stressful)  He is on the Diamondbacks and has a great coach and a great team.  He has a lot to learn still and we constantly have to remind ourselves he is 4 and a half... we can not gauge his athletic future on a t ball game :) Although, he is doing great so far - catching well and batting great.  Running fast and has a great attitude so we're on the right track.

Opening ceremonies were on Saturday and lets just say THEY HAD A FLYOVER.  We were kind of blown away - I mean - this is little league for goodness sake!  The boys loved it of course - there is no lying it was way cool.  We were just kind of like "Whoa".

They played their first game at 12:30 and they did great.  I can't wait to see him grow in not only his skills and ability but love of the sport (if it becomes his thing)!

The shoes are a big deal!

Kisses from little sister!

All ready to play!

Ready to cheer on our little diamondback!

My husband is hot

Look at that little throw position - he is ready!

Little sister bugging her brother through the dugout fence :)

He scored a run for his team (2 actually)

He also happens to be #8 which is Matthews number and favorite number :)

We are so thankful he is able to play and look forward to all his games and all he will learn!
