Beach getaway - without the beach

We have some great friends, the Heberts, who recently invited us to spend some time with them at a condo in Galveston.  Matthew and I both jumped at an opportunity to spend time with them and their precious daughter Harper (a few months younger than Paxton) as well as taking some time away from reality to enjoy some family time.   We never actually made it to the beach, but did manage to squeeze in some doing other fun things :)

Can we just say FUN and STRESSFUL (and ouch) for this momma! I couldn't quite pedal because my prego belly was in the way, but we all had a great time riding along the sea wall.  I was nervous with two little ones on the front of the bike but they loved it! They would squeal and were really perfect little passengers.

Riding the boat at Moody Gardens... save your money :)

Ok y'all... so this was precious.  At the seal tank, they seemed to swim on a rythmic pattern.  Repeating their "trail" over and over in the water.  Paxton loved it, so him and Matthew parked it on the ground and watched for at least 30 minutes.  They would "tickle" their belly - so cute :)

In the cage in the shark tank! Eeek!

Little Mozart :)

Wizard of OZ in 4-d - this was awesome! Pax wore the glasses the whole time, big shocker for me! 4-d reaches your senses, so we were blown by the tornado, could smell flowers, got hit in the back by debris and were sprayed with water - we didn't melt though!

Precious family memories with precious friends!
